Wet Scrubber System is a system used for the treatment of polluted air from manufacturing processes, for examples, the pollution, the fume and the chemical vapor, etc. The operating system applies a concept of the contact between contaminated air and water or a chemical solvent. The contaminated air will be ventilated into the scrubber through a packing media which is served to increase the contacting surface between contaminated air and water or a chemical solvent. The mists are sprayed to capture the dusts or contaminants in the air. These contaminants will be caught by the mists which causes them not be able to leave out of the scrubber. Then, the purified air will be ventilated by the FRP centrifugal blower to be released through the FRP stack.

There are various types of the wet scrubber system, for examples, the packed bed scrubber, the spray tower, the venturi and the cyclone system, etc. However, the most used wet scrubber system for the industrial plants is the packed bed scrubber.
